Good playing condition. Repaired crack in upper joint with replaced tenon, repaired crack in bell, lower ivory ring not original.

Silver plated brass Bb clarinet with thirteen keys and brille, signed "G.Butler / Manufacturer / 57 Greek St. Soho / London" made c.1865. Length 64.5cm. Tuning slide on barrel. Old ebonite mouthpiece.
In good original condition, to be playable needs a repad and a couple of springs. Probably made in France. Plating worn on bell and a little on keys.

Ebonite Albert system Eb clarinet with 13 German silver keys, signed "BOOSEY & CO / MAKERS / LONDON / 12996" made c.1897. Overall length 48.0cm. The barrel and ebonite mouthpiece signed "BOOSEY & CO / 12996" and are therefore original to the body.
In good original condition. The pads appear to be quite good, it should work with some adjustments. A very unusual and elegant model with the body and bell in one piece.

Boxwood C clarinet with horn bands and six brass keys, the C#/G# key mounted with pillars on an oval plate, signed "(star) / LOT / A PARIS / (star)" made c.1820. Length 60.3cm.
Recently overhauled and now playable. Repaired crack in one horn band. Repair to one wooden mount. Mouthpiece an accurate modern reconstruction. It is not possible to say which member of the Lot family made this clarinet.

Ebony Bb Boehm system clarinet with brass mounts and keywork, signed "(lyre) / BUFFET / Crampon (?& Cie) / A PARIS" made c.1860. Length 65.3cm.
Recently overhauled and now playable. Two repaired cracks in the socket of the RH joint reinforced by a brass band, below the original band. Repairs to bell. An example of an early Boehm system clarinet with large fingerholes and delicate rings.

In very good original condition, recently repadded.

A Clarinet in cocuswood with thirteen German silver keys and brille with Patent C#, signed on the mouthpiece "E.ALBERT / S.A.CHAPPELL" signed on the upper joint "(star) / A.CHAPPELL / 45 / NEW BOND STREET / LONDON / (star)" signed on the lower joint "(star) / E.ALBERT / BRUXELLES / (star)" signed on the bell "(star) / APPROVED BY / MR LAZARUS / (star)" signed on C# key "CHAPPELL / BREVETE" made c.1870. Length 69.0cm. This is an early example of the Albert system clarinet.
Mouthpiece chipped, two short cracks in top of lower joint, crack in bell. Thumbrest changed. Needs complete overhaul, it does have interesting old (perhaps original) black leather pads.

A clarinet in boxwood with horn bands and eight brass keys, signed "(Prussian Eagle?) / KOEHLER / A" made in Germany c.1810. Length 67.3cm.
Crack in barrel. Needs clean and repad. The lowest joint is stamped with a "B" under the name, this was originally a clarinet with extra left and right hand joints enabling it to be played in Bb and A.
